5 miles? What 5 miles outta my way? Read your message system you should be made to otherwise the people who start problems like the one I paid for a high dollar sewing machine that was packed upside down with nothing on box stating up ..this end up not any sine age whatsoever and it was received broken. After I paid he has been so rude . You people have a system that's saves all correspondence , teach your people to use it. READ THE CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN SELLERS AND BUYERS ONLY THEN WILL YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH HONESTY GOES THROUGH YOUR SYSTEM. This man should be barred. From here. But instead I'll quit. New system stinks I lost all my ratings and messages
I stumbled onto to this blog board by accident while looking for the value the level system actually finds additional worth to over 5 stars. First , as a seller and a buyer, I know from 60 yrs of sales and marketing, I got about 15 seconds to plant a seed in a buyers brain, if I'm lucky. If I get them to stay another 10 Seconds with photo , wording, price , I may have a chance to sell item out of their need, impulse or curiosity buy habit and have contact. The odds weigh against the seller out of the gate, why not give an edge that "works" A new buyer is critical, as is your photo and most likely will take a glance at a star rate , one that has universal meaning and readily available that may be deciding factor to sway the buyer to at min "this may be worth it,at least inquiry, no loss no gain" mindset but may not search meanings to a value system, such of what you have implemented here. Your strategy is in error in today's hustle world, your over thinking the process and too close to epicenter to make this decision whom ever is in charge of Web media, keep it simple stupid as my dad would say, time is of essance. Secondly, if I were a review person thinking of joining your site and read only the first page of disatisfied sellers here whom now have no incentive to maintain a courtesy , be on time , clean product selling enviroment...
Well let's be civil about your error that's bit hard enough already....time......time... to go " let go" and "offer up" my goods somewhere that understands my view and basic statistics to sales! Good luck !
I've been with five miles for quite a while never did sell much and find mostly people just playing games saying they want to buy something and then back out. I don't use this much anymore that's one reason plus with the new rating system is why I rarely even come on here anymore. Sharon
Change it back, not fair at all, will be seeking legal advise about this unless I get a clear answer.
I don't even have a rating on here because I was screwed over by several buyers and left miles away wasting gas for nothing. I agree with most other posts on here that this is becoming some BS. Not really worth the time to detail all these items and boost them for nothing
Buyers reviews are all visible but count for one. Reason is because too many people made too many fake reviews and some bought reviews. This system isnt hurting anyone but is in all actuallity protecting against the scammers and theives that would make the fake reviews which brought them the victims they needed to do what ever they do. These scamers also looked at your much valued 5star ratings as targets. 5 stars ment that 1) You care only about pleasing the customer so if they wanted they could befriend you making a close buyer seller relationship learning all they can about you. 2) More than likely once they learn yoir normal products and meeting points now they are averaging your earnings and really looking at your high and low sales. 3) They flake on you. Then rearange flake again maybe or instead of simply flaking they come at you rushing the sale for whatever reason more than likely right after they know a big ticket item sold. Anyways the point is that reviews sewm like one thing to you but sadly its behind the scenes that some one else is looking at them another. No system is better or worse but one is safer than the other. Anyways. Its a safe bet that none of you even thought of it being for saftey and i could be wrong but lets not worry about that and be grateful some one is worrying about it for you.

Oh I thought it was messed up the first writing system but this one really sucks. I believe a lot of our ratings are given to us by fake if you know what I mean just like when people start viewing are items they it shows that for 5 people viewed it as soon as you post it but it's just something that five miles does. Just like the other sites there's a lot of things that could change but they're probably not going to didn't Somebody by 5 miles it's got another name to it now I thought I'd seen the commercial about it. But anyway I'm just selling my stuff

So its obvious we have all been ignored, it doesnt matter what we want or think, they just want you to think that your important by asking for your feedback which means D%$k. Everyone has asked to change the rating system back to old one, 5mile staff just laughing at us.

So Christine, first of all don't tell me to chill. Like you and your BS comment, I can express my feelings about this system however and whenever I choose and I'm capable of doing that without being rude to a fellow user just as everyone else has. If you don't like me supporting someone else's comment, don't read it. Maybe you should remember what someone should have taught you as a child about if you don't have anything nice to say to someone...... Secondly, since you seem to know everything--no those messages are not what I'm talking about thank you very much and yes I get more pissed off every day I see them pending-& quite frankly everyone should be upset that this thread is obviously a fraud if they don't post everything. I honestly dont see what the big deal is. Its really not a bad system. If you had good ratings im the past and this affected it, and your a loyal/dependable seller/buyer, getting your ratings back up should not be an issue. I definetly dont have a problem with getting my buyers to rate me but then again i rate them and maybe thats why its not an issue. But really alot of yall are downing an update that obviously had to be done so instead of hating/downing it, just cope with it and get your ratings back up
