To start earning Coins, you’ll need:
- A 5miles account – the first account registered on your device (Note: if you have multiple accounts on the same device, only the first account is qualified to earn coins)
- A verified US mobile number (required when redeeming rewards)
Users can earn Coins in 4 ways:
- Daily Check-in
- Login daily to the Earn Money page and earn Coins instantly!
- The Coins you get varies each day.
- The more consecutive days you login, the bigger the Coins you earn.
- One Daily Login cycle lasts 7 days. Once you miss a day and break the cycle, the cycle restarts back to day 1.
- Watch a video and get extra coins
- Watch a video after logging in daily and earn additional coins.
- Click the button on the pop-up window for the successful daily check-in notification to watch a video.
- Users can only watch a video for a maximum of 3 times daily.
- Lightning Task
- Some tasks listed as below keep valid for 7 days, like “View Listing Detail”,” List a high-quality listing” and “Fill in the invite code”
- Only for new users and old users who firstly participates in “Coins” program
- Tasks Everyday
- Complete the goal and tasks listed in the Earn Money page and earn Coins!
- Tasks refresh daily at 00:00 PST.
- Tasks may be added or removed at any given time.
- Coin value that can be earned for tasks is subject to change at any given time.

Note on “View Listings Detail”:
- “Viewing listings” means photos and descriptions of listings with attention for over 5 seconds
- Users with same Facebook/google/email account, mobile phone number, device or bank account will be regarded as the same user who won’t be rewarded repeatedly.
- Viewings only count when done in the 5miles app. It does not count if viewed in 5miles.com website.
- Viewings and rewards count uses Pacific Standard Time (PST)
Note on “List a high-quality listing”:
- A high-quality listing means a listing having a clear description, with at least 3 photos and must be approved.

To earn more Coins, you are encouraged to finish more tasks, once you have successfully completed a task, the Coins earned will be credited to your Coin balance.
