What are ‘Likes’ and ‘Followers’?

Tap on the member, and you’ll be taken to their page. From there, just tap on the Follow button. To unfollow, tap on this button again and tap Unfollow. It’s the same for ‘likes’, only you’ll go to an item and tap the heart at the bottom of the page to ‘like’ an item, and you’ll tap again to ‘unlike’ the item.

As a reminder, members have the following options when using your page:

Like = This is for users who are interested but not ready to make a purchase just yet. This button adds your item to that user's Likes list for easy access later on. They also receive alerts when you edit your item or sell it.

Follow = When someone "follows" your account, they are automatically alerted each time you publish a new listing. Your listings are also available in their Following feed on the home page. This is not a social feature; its intention is to draw more attention to your listings to help you sell faster.

Chat = This allows the buyer to ask any questions they have about the item before committing to making a purchase. This button opens up a private chat between the buyer and seller only.

Make Offer = This is where the buyer can make an offer on the item. It also opens up a private chat between buyer and seller where you can negotiate price, decide on a form of payment, and make arrangements for the exchange.

Buy Now = This button allows you to pay immediately through the app.

Right now, 5miles is designed for the buyer to initiate the conversation.

There is not a way for you to message a user for liking your item or following you.
