Prohibited Listing Policy

Listings on 5miles can not have the following characteristics:

         1. Images

• Images that are unclear, too small, too dark, or too bright.
• Images that do not show the whole item or the actual item.
• Images that are inconsistent with the item description.
• Images that are not clean (e.g. screenshots, excessive text, etc.)
• Images that are cell phone screenshots, composite images, and stock images.
• Main images which do not clearly illustrate the item.
• Images that contain phone numbers, emails, and links are not allowed.
• Images that have already been uploaded by you or another member (duplicates).
  
  2. Descriptions

• Descriptions directing buyers to sites off 5miles.
• Descriptions with offensive or inappropriate words.
• Descriptions containing links, cell phone numbers or other personal contact information.
  
  3. Pricing

• Entering a low price to attract buyers and later asking for more in the description or when communicating with buyers.
• Listing an item for a price higher than its original retail value.
• Listing a false price in the attempt to get other members to bid on your item.
  
  4. Duplicates

• Multiple listings for the same item are prohibited.

        These listings will be removed immediately.

         5. Electronic Device

• When listing some electronic devices, please contain the IMEI/MEID, if applicable.
• The IMEI/MEID may be located on the back of the phone, in the phone’s settings, or near the battery.

Note: Service category is not excluded from "Descriptions containing cell phone numbers or other personal contact information." This page is not an all-inclusive list of prohibited characteristics and is subject to change at any time, at the discretion of the 5miles App team.
