Why does iOS version require me to crop photos?

The iOS version of the app requires me to crop photos to a square. The Android version doesn't require photos to be cropped.

  I have been using this app for 2 years and now when I upgraded for new version when I try to make an add it tells me I can upload 0 pictures anyone knows why?

  I would like to troubleshoot with you for a bit and try to resolve the issue.
  First I'd like you to re-install the application. Then restart your phone and log back in.
  Afterwards, kindly please try again to upload your pictures.
