Why are users following me when I haven’t posted anything!?

I just signed up - haven’t listed anything for sale and 3 people way out of my area have followed me. This seems REALLY bizarre to me. There’s no legit reason to follow me if I’ve never posted anything and I don’t live within 20 miles of you.
