Unable to put items up for bid

I have followed posted instructions to put an item up for bid but it wont let me. It just makes a regular post for the item.

  I was able to post about 6 sports cards with the bid option several days ago and have not been able to go with that option since. What do I do to initiate this option?

  Bidding was a failure. They removed it.

  Same here. That’s why I’m in this discussions section to find answers. The steps for selling for bids don’t come up for me. After I describe the item it says to hit Next to choose starting price and shipping, but for me it only gives the option to PUBLISH. So I stuck. If you find out, please post correction
