  I just did mine for $10 and didn't get anything either but my coins for them are now gone.

  Same thing. Redeem points for gift card but you don’t get it UNTIL you contact customer service. Fishy!

  This is common practice. They will stop giving gift card as they wish. It is kind of scam but arbitrary.
