App needs work
This app works great but only when connected to wifi. If I am on cellular I get "network lost" messages. What good is an app that doesn't work when on cellular? I have experienced this problem since downloading the app months ago. If it is not fixed soon I'll be deleting the app.

Duh.. I Have a data plan with my current cellular provider. It is an unlimited plan. I still continue to have frequent problems connecting through my cellular data plan it’s definitely a 5 mile app issue. I’ve since stopped using the 5 mile app and have started using other similar services like Facebook marketplace.

Who is your carrier? I have straight talk and use Verizon with no problems. I tried TMobile for about 3 days and couldn't log onto anything, 96% of the time I had no data services available. I couldn't even place calls most of the time. I was lucky to see 1 bar and barely ever saw the 4g data signal. Right now Straight talk changed their unlimited to be yduely unlimited now for $55 +tax = $60. They no longer slow their service untill you're over 32gig but only if they need to. I'm at 30g right now and not slowed yet down and up speeds are between 6mbs to 16mbs at all times.
I can't see how it could be the app since it's just accessing a website, have you tried going directly to the website through your phones web browser and not use the app? That would determine if it is the app or the phone carrier.
