How do I know my auction schedule?
If you submit your listings before Tuesday 8:00 p.m CST., your cars will be on for auction the same week on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m CST. Anytime after Tuesday at 8:00 p.m CST, your cars will be posted next week.
How long does each auction last?
The pre-bidding process will start as soon as your cars are listed on 5miles Car Dash. It ends right before the auction officially starts. The live auction will normally end within an hour, depending on how many buyers are bidding on the cars.
How does the pre-bidding function benefit me as a dealer?
The pre-bidding function will help speed up the bidding process and lower the price gap for you. Before the auction starts, buyers can start placing their maximum bid amount once you list your cars on Car Dash. The pre-bidding process will stop right before the auction goes live on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. When the auction starts, the winning pre-bid will become the starting price at the live auction. As a dealer, you don't have to sit there for the entire two hours to see the auction. It saves your time and provides a quick and easy result for you.
Can I change the price after I list my car?
You can still change the price before your car is approved by 5miles. After your listing is approved, the car will start pre-bidding immediately, so you won't be able to change the price anymore.
How can I sell my car faster?
Besides Car Dash, 5miles also provides customized membership plans to maximize your profit on 5miles. You will be able to:
- Have more local vehicle listings every month,
- Uploading up to 32 photos on each car,
- Account White list,
- Click-to-call function help your buyers find you easily.
- Renew your membership automatically and free cancellation anytime

What if I sold my car somewhere else before it starts bidding?
You will need to mark your vehicle sold in the app, and we will cancel the auction for this vehicle.
Can I put my car back on Car Dash if it was not bid successfully?
No. Currently, each car only gets one chance to join the auction. If the car was not sold during its auction, it will go back to your local listing. You can still sell the car through the local channel, but not on the Car Dash anymore.
