I hate this new rating systems it sucks and it is not fair . Please go back to the other one it worked fine . Do not fix something that is not broken . If you feel the need to fix it than do not screw the people who have now been screwed by this new systems it sucks !

this is 0 stars for 5 miles horrible service!!! people i dnt know comment on my post and write negative comments only because i tell them i cannot leave my prices that cost 80$ for 15$ and they write ban comments on my page and i get cheap ratings this 5miles whole ratting thing is a damm horrible thing anyone can write to you anything they want even if its false and make ur ratings look bad !! 5 miles you guys suck!!!! 1000000% sucks horrible!!!

I opened the app 2day 2 see a notation..it says "welcome 2 the new 5 miles..see ur upgrated user rating here" so i click on it & it says"u are @ level 6".. wutevr that means.. & it says 100% 5 star reviews/ratings..i just wanna say this.. I feel this whole review/rating deal is irrelevant & over-rated. I feel EVERY transaction shld be given a review whether its a new buyer or return buyer. I DONT feel its ok 4 any1 2 leave a review unless they make a purchase. I had a lady msg me w/a question on an item..i replied..next thing i know i have a low rating w/no comment as 2 why..i angrily dispute & its eventually removed..now this lady msgd back 2 days later wanting same item..it sold 1 day prior (& got 5 strz) as sellers we have 2 take the time 2 set up our listings so they appeal 2 buyers..we also have 2 deal with pple that are there 4 reasons other than buying. Some want us 2 model..i had 1 ask if they cld buy panties aftr i wear them..these deranged pple as well as sum1 asking a question shld not be allowed 2 review sellers..4 what purpose? They ddnt have an experience with us!! If there is no transaction done & that person has a problem enuff 2 leave a bad review..i feel that they shld have 2 submit a complaint 2 the 5 mile app about wutever that situation is & allow u 2 determine & take action if it deems necessary..We hafta turn pple in 2 u when they are being stupid with propositions etc.. whats the difference? I will tell u what the difference is..& a lady commented this earlier in the comments..she said"THE SELLERS ON THIS APP ARE THE REASON THE APP EXISTS!" how accurate is that?!! I feel u guys have 4gotten that factor somehow..u say im at level 6..i say at level 1 i was no different than i am now. I still give the same..100%. I feel 3 months as a seller on this app shld deem u established as a seller. This app needs 2 focus more on how 2 keep the sellers u have from leaving the app..maybe instead of changing how reviews are given 2..oh idk..maybe perks 2 a seller for hitting levels from reviews..& so on! Give us a reason 2 stay instead of frustration of irrelevant changes! Sumthing as simple as a $10 credit towards a purchase on the app.. sumthing 2 say HEY THANK YOU 4 ur efforts & 4 sticking with us..if u really think about it..all these reviews?? They really reflect on YOU..THE 5 MILE APP..we are (in whole) a reflection of you after all..just sayin..

Hey Frogman you hit the nail on the head. I made a comment 11 DAYS AGO asking if anyone there was doing their jobs or just sitting around collecting a paycheck. The show my comment as Pending Approval. So obviously I touched a nerve and obviously they don't freely allow comments to be posted, they're controlling what gets to be seen. Shady! I use 3 other apps besides this 1. Not even bothering to list things here. And still nothing from 5 Miles to even acknowledge our existence let alone our concerns.
People ask for a address and don't come by, I'm going to give your ass a bad review. Don't waste my time and I won't leave you a bad review. I get a bad review because I didn't agree with the other buyer. F*** this . And your rating system
This rating system sucks worst ive ever seen ! Im going to offer up who is with me? Offerup is a way better App & site !!!
Uh yeah. Been on that app, this app and 2 others for past year. Offer Up is a hundred times better and better quality stuff as well. This is definitely the worst, always has been in my opinion. Not trying to offend anyone but if a comparison must be made, this app is like the Walmart app where Offer Up would be Macys. Letgo used to be the best by far but Offer Up has surpassed them, they are at least in 2nd place followed by Close5 and sadly, very very far behind in last place is this very sad app.
I like the 5 star ratings system. It allows the customer to see if this person is rated as average or excellent. Also, I rated flaky and/ or abusive customers and they retaliated against me with a bunch of lies in a fake ratings. There lies brought my score down. One of them blocked me from responding to his lies. There are two side to the story and only one truth. I prefer to sell sports items in a more controlled atmosphere with mature people.. I have noticed that the sporty males are very abusive and enjoy attacking your wallet and time. I will be more careful with the sporty male crowd. They think about being powerful and dominant more that fair and respectful. They act like they are on the other team scoring points on you, while you are selling them a fair price and fair use of time. These abusive sporty males are bad fruit from idolizing competition. Greed and abuse of others is bad fruit.
According to your rating scale, I should be rated a 3...but you have me listed as a 2. Please tell me how you got a 2. I don't care for this new rating system.

It looks like all of us posting here are being ignored by 5miles. It is obvious that everyone that is willing to take the time to post a comment here does not likes this new rating system, but like others have noted I guess it does not really matter. I have not made a sale on this app in months. I'm making most of my sales on OfferUp and my other apps. 5miles if you don't listen to your users you will lose us. Furthermore, you have allowed businesses on here. Furniture stores, dealerships, etc. These apps should NOT be for businesses. They have filled the app with their postings. :(
Thank you Lorie! Yes you are right, they don't care about the comments we're posting. They haven't acknowledged a single 1. Plus I have a comment from 3 weeks ago that they haven't even posted--its says Pending Approval. Nice right. Apparently they don't post all comments. I completely agree with what you said about all the businesses on here, it's out of control. But nothing is done, nothing is done about anything important to the users. Thanks for being someone else that's stating the obvious but they're oblivious to!!! I have 67 perfect ratings and I'm only getting credit for 19 of them cuz apparently its a bad thing to have return customers or people that buy more than 1 thing. I should be a level 7 buy only a 5 cuz of this. The system is ridiculous. And for me as well-i rarely sell anything on this app, most on Offer Up amd Letgo. Starting to wonder if they are wanting this app to fail cuz they are definitely pushing us away. Haven't even bothered to list anything here since the change happened.
2nd Chances, chill. If you're talking about your "how do I have 19 blah blah" comment, your "piece of crap" comment, and follow-up "pissed off" comment, they show up. They always have.
So Christine, first of all don't tell me to chill. Like you and your BS comment, I can express my feelings about this system however and whenever I choose and I'm capable of doing that without being rude to a fellow user just as everyone else has. If you don't like me supporting someone else's comment, don't read it. Maybe you should remember what someone should have taught you as a child about if you don't have anything nice to say to someone...... Like I said this is a lame app and it keeps getting worse and worse.
I had 27 listings I sold 24 of them on Craigslist and not one here so I am removing this app it uses way too much space and is worthless .
