I stopped using this app for months because the new rating system is not only unfair but pretty much invalid. Too many responses never followed through. No customer service. I see the rating system is still the same but am going to give this another try. We’ll see.

I have always tried to be the best that I can be. And 5 Miles gave me a sense of accomplishment with the 5 Star Ratings System.
But the New Rating System is a Total Joke to all those Who Started with 5 Miles just like myself, and We all feel that We have been Sold Out. Well 5 Miles, I don't take to kindly when all my Hard Work is thrown Out the window and my Concerns are Ignored like rotten politicians. So, unless We go back to the Way it was. Or I'm Definitely Deleting YOU and moving on to something better than 5 Miles.
I agree with Edward 100%. This new rating system is totally unbalanced, and extremely unfair! It’s bad enough having to deal with trolls that you know have multiple accounts, who have never sold or purchased a thing, and the scammers on a daily basis. Now that this new system has been implemented, it means nothing if you are a kind, considerate seller, who truly works with buyers to be as fair as possible on prices. None of that matters one bit. I too have been with 5 Miles for a long time, and I am very unhappy about this. It’s a SLAP in the FACE to all of us “REAL” buyers and sellers, with legit accounts. We are the people who keep this app ALIVE! You’ve lost your way 5 Miles, take this opportunity and DO THE RIGHT THING!

Stupid rating system. This world is full of people getting their feelings hurt because things don’t go their way w/o them taking into consideration that they do not know the other persons story. You can’t leave bad feedback for someone just because you “think” they should have waited until you got around to purchasing an item you inquired about!! Seriously who has time for petty BS? Ugh! Years of hard work for 1 person to get butt hurt and screw it up
Been on here since 2015 I miss the old 5 miles I get no customers what happen to the app being free why charge us anything we made your app popular by selling and promoting this app a lot of my instagram followers find me here because I use my link and also on fb and my biz cards smdh 5miles is going down the toilet hole nice way of putting this but I’m pissed about every update it gets worse smdh where’s the loyalty to your users

I don’t think I’ll be using this app anymore. I keep getting low balled then when I speak up all of a sudden I’m attacking someone. They won’t remove one negative rating and the guy is falsely slandering my name. I have had nothing but positive ratings and feedback, then I have this one guy that gets upset cause I won’t agree to his $220 less than what I posted form price item and gets all sensitive and in his feelings.
5 miles doesn’t make a sale at all! And buyers here only bargain then no respond. Today, there was a guy who wanted to buy a headset from me. He said it would take him 45 minutes to the location I suggested. Well, in general, although he said he was coming, how do I know he flake or not? Right? So, I just waited until he told me he was there, and then I started going. Well, that guys was so funny that, he couldn’t wait for extra 5 minutes (I only took 5 minutes to get to the place). Then he left. In my opinion, I think he doesn’t even leave his bed. So, if the rating system change to this way, sellers will be on the disadvantage side.
If it is the way, I strongly recommend sellers don’t use 5 miles
I will NEVER buy anything from this site again. The time I was told the things I ordered would come in is CRAP
I’ve upgraded on several occasions and got no customers not good at all I’m not spending no more money on 5 miles flaky.

I don’t really care about this rate thing to be honest, mad people are everywhere and if they want to do bad on you they will, no matter how many good points you already have.
People will buy from you if they like your item and if they thing it has a good price no matter what .
I had to deal In 2 or 3 times with flake scammers , but this is not 5 mies fault and i had to learn how to protect myself.
So far I am having the best experience using 5 miles to sale and buy stuff and I like it so much .
I hate this app cause of the rating thing you have now ! It sucks ! Change it back or lose all of your people to other better apps that do not have a stupid rating sytem .

I am just one more lowly seller/ buyer but I have been with 5mile since it began 5 years ago. You guys screwed me for listing a knife that you said was not appropriate for listing. Wrong, its done every day. I lost my ratings and had to start over if I wanted to use the site per your instructions. Started over 4 years ago and still at a level 8. I would like to see all my repeat customers that posted good reviews not waste their time. The old system is fine and should not matter if a review from the same person is repeated. Its there way of keeping us seller's strong with support. Change the review process back to help the sellers continue growing there reliable stature so the buyers can trust us as they should based on truthful ratings.
Offer up is better
A rating and a comment should be left only when someone buys an item and not just because we don't reply back to a message. I recently got a bad review for not relying back. I don't always have the time to reply back or I usually don't get my notifications from this app.
I was promised my money back and never heard from ANGELA again and still waiting...how can people do that to a disabled little boy...SMH!!!
Rating system sucks and so does 5 mile support for the seller.

Okay question say John Doe bys 8 different items from me and he goes in and rates me 8 different times he gives me the best rating on the first seven now he's tired of fill in the mouth so he just hits a couple things says thank you and rates it why is it only the last rating from a person who possibly bought more than one item from me but gave me 8 different ratings one for each item? Why do I lose so many points in this scale then on the selling or 8 items?
Now John Doe comes back he sees we're going to make it simple and umbrella it's a light green and he's been looking for a light green umbrella for years now he knows he gave me stop but the picture looks like what he wants Mike description says umbrella is a light green but please there is a difference between the picture and the color of the umbrella. So he gets the umbrella John Doe now he's upset and he marks shipping sent on time Danny puts down poor, and he writes wow the color is not the color that's close to the picture of his I'm not happy with this now they didn't get ahold of me to try to resolve it he just left a message and very bad 1 now my question is do I lose the points I've already ate items that I sold because now this one is his last raining and even one that was the eight rating showed me being great everything was check Bart good I wanted to thank you this one says unhappy with their new b**** more they compare thousands of plans from National Insurance unit not sell it as described I am not happy I get a bad rating now do I lose all my points that I've gotten on his previous sale I lost 7 already do I lose the eighth one and now I get a lousy one and my point scale goes down instead of up?
I can agree , what happens when you move an have the hussel of life.i had packages coming in forgot to change my address an all the packages were get sent back to sender. Ive sent 100's of complaints to customers service an they still will not give my money back to me ! If they are that broke to where they have to steal people's money i dont want no part of this place !! What goes around comes around . tried of trying ive turned it over to someone else! Idiots i say
